2023 CAMPAIGNCOP28: Open letter to UNFCCC, governments and negotiators
For the COP28 climate conference, PATH and its supporters called on the UNFCCC, governments and negotiators to give more priority and investment in walking and cycling to significantly accelerate progress on climate goals and improve people’s lives. Over 400 non-profit organisations from all over the world signed the open letter to show their support.

On 21 September 2023, the first-ever PATH symposium brought together members of the PATH coalition, a line up of expert speakers on active travel and an audience of walking and cycling advocates to exchange on how we can help confront the climate crisis.

On the occasion of the COP27 climate conference, the Partnership for Active Travel and Health, alongside supporters of more walking and cycling, issued a letter to governments and cities which was signed by over 400 civil society organisations from all over the world.
